Aleksei Tepljakov An excellent and satisfying instrumental prog album by a multi-talented artist from NL. The mood of the album is nicely captured by the cover—the sound and atmosphere of the tracks range from well-rounded to edgy, and overall provide a complete experience. If you're a fan of (early) Steven Wilson and (all time) Gavin Harrison, or enjoy fusion-emanating Planet X albums, you will love this record. Favorite track: Early Warning.

about

This album has been an absolute labour of love from start to finish. I'm very proud of my first full-length album and proud as well to have worked with some incredibly talented people who loved participating when I asked them for this project. 'Conjecture Views' has (at least in my opinion) a lot to offer to people who like progressive music, fusion and even metal. I drew inspiration from a lot of bands and artists who inspired me over the years and still do to this very day. I hope you love the album as much as I did making it. Cheers!

BEN-O-CULAR ZE, Netherlands

Benjamin van Geest is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. He's been heavily influenced by 70s progressive rock acts like Rush, Genesis, Yes, Gentle Giant, Brand X and Saga but at the same time by metal bands like Meshuggah. This has lead to an interesting blend of styles which is both original and challenging. He hopes that this album brings something to the table for everyone. ... more
